JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic Qualifications	· Finance / economics / business degree · CFA qualification is desirable · French speaking
Work Experience	· Worked in an African business environment/ Asset Manager dealing in African markets · Financial statement analysis
Core Task Requirements	· Analysis of shares (forecasted income statements, balance sheets and cash flows) and idea generation · Actively contribute to security selection · Company analysis and reports for African listed companies · Provide presentations on research · Help build & maintain the investment process
Core Technical Skill Requirements	· Sound academic results · Strong numerical ability · Good understanding of financial mathematics · Understanding of different valuation techniques · Good communication skills · Ability to present to internal and external individual groups · Must be able to communicate ideas succinctly and make decisions based on research · Reasonable accounting knowledge · PC literacy on MSOffice · Good Excel skills
